I Know how you feel. Wonderfully dark, but I find somewhat soothing, like finding solace in isolation.
The eye is wonderfully expressive and obviously painted with great care.

you saw the only thing I like in this painting.. the eye.. the rest of it was produced in a time where i was pretty disconnected, if I remake this now it would look so much better.

You know, now that I think about it I think I WILL come back with something I have poured more love into, because this wasn't entirely love-produced but I still like the concept.. Couldn't feel it while making it and I definitely notice a difference.. but the eye I did pour some lurv in! 8)

Have you ever tried a self portrait with 2 eyes?
There's a challenge!

I'm actually doing one right now. I look a bit like jesus in it.. Hopefully my computer will be fixed soon and I can upload it.. Yes it's a darn challenge to get the eyes in correct position^^

It's about time we had a female Jesus sans beard. Can't wait to see it.

Lovely abstract and surreal. Somehow reminds me of an industrial style sculpture i once saw visiting an exhibition.
It leaves a lot of space for personal interpretation. Just wonderful. :)

Well.... what do you put in your space for personal interpretation, would be an interesting question to ask. So I'm asking it.

Industrial style.. so many styles are lovely. I can go for any but the plastic kind.. :D
